Rehabilitation of a Rubber Recycling Facility
Waste ManagementThis project involved refurbishing production areas at one of the leading manufacturers of automotive floor mats in western Mexico. The aim was to prepare the plant for the installation of new equipment and optimise the operating conditions of its industrial processes.
This included dismantling and removing obsolete machinery to free up space for new production technology. At the same time, specialised cleaning and decontamination work was carried out on oil tanks to ensure safe working conditions and reduce risks associated with the modernisation work.
As part of the project, industrial tidiness and cleaning procedures were implemented in the production areas to improve organisation, staff movement and materials handling. These measures enhanced safety, facilitated maintenance work and prepared the infrastructure for more efficient operation.
Furthermore, the plant’s fire protection system was inspected and verified to assess its condition, functionality and compliance with industrial safety requirements. This was done to ensure the protection of the facilities and personnel during operations.
The project enabled critical areas of the plant to be refurbished without disrupting operational continuity, providing infrastructure ready for future expansions with improved safety, maintenance, and manufacturing process efficiency.
