Assembly of an Automotive Mats Factory Using Recycled Materials
Waste ManagementThis project involved the comprehensive conversion of a former chilli warehouse into a manufacturing plant for producing plastic goods using injection moulding machines that process recycled materials. The main challenge was adapting the existing infrastructure to meet the technical, operational, and regulatory requirements of an industrial manufacturing process.
The project scope encompassed planning, engineering and coordinating all necessary modifications to convert the warehouse into a productive and safe facility ready for future expansion. The general layout of the plant was optimised by developing the location of production lines, storage areas, administrative offices, toilets, a canteen and other support spaces, as well as strategically relocating storage systems to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
The engineering work involved carrying out calculations and designs for the medium- and low-voltage electrical installations, the assembly and commissioning of the injection moulding machines, and the design of the cooling and ventilation systems for the process equipment and industrial hall respectively, to ensure suitable conditions for the plant’s continuous operation.
Additionally, we coordinated the implementation of regulatory compliance requirements applicable to industrial facilities, incorporating safety, functionality, and efficiency criteria from the design stage through to project execution.
The result is a fully functional production plant designed to maximise productivity, optimise material flow, and provide reliable, scalable industrial infrastructure aligned with the needs of a recycled plastic processing operation.
